4th of July

For the 4th of July we drove out to meet up with our good friends Haileigh and Alan in Brockway, PA. What an adorable little town out in the country!  Haileigh and I work together but she works from home while I work in the office.  She comes in every now and then but I don't get to see her nearly enough. She is truly an amazing soul and I just adore her and her husband!  They had this wonderful festival going on with arts and crafts, music (Bon Jovi cover band) and a magician that was the funniest and most awkward I have ever seen.  I can't even begin to explain his antics but the best part was he threw some adult humor in there and it went right over the kids heads and we were all laughing.   We walked around and got some food and just enjoyed our friends company!  We had about a 2 hour drive home but after I snapped some photos of the country side I fell asleep.  The sun wore me out.  We got home and both laid on the bed and passed out.  Brian was just as tired as I but the day was totally worth it!  So here are some photos from our day:

Mom's 65th Birthday

Two posts in one day!!! I know- I couldn't really wait... they start to build up and give me anxiety and I have had a lot of that lately.

So for my Mom's 65th Birthday on June 24th (I know, she doesn't look 65!) we took her to do something she has always wanted to do- a train ride!  We drove about an hour and a half to Ohio for the experience.  We had some snacks once we got there, explored the small town and then hopped on the train!  It really was a nice, relaxing 3 hour ride (went by very fast) and we enjoyed chatting a glass of wine.  It was a beautiful day and was wonderfully spend with family! I'm going to let the photos do the talking for this post as it was a pretty simple day so I hope you enjoy them!

Well- Happy Birthday Meems- we love you to the moon and back and then back again!

Baby Mobile for a Friend

Hello all!

I hope you are all doing well and have a safe and Happy 4th of July tomorrow!

I just wanted to pop in and post this project I was working on since it took me a long time to make this.  I made it for a friend of mine who is having a baby and I can't wait to give it to her tomorrow!  I think I may make more for my Etsy store (which- once I get a free moment I will finish setting up)! I really liked the woodland creatures theme though and this one has a special place in my heart!
I hope you enjoy the photos!
