My first wedding! Adam and Brianna - Oak Lodge

I really think that shooting the detials of the wedding has to be one of my favorite parts just because you can see all the little things that people thought of to make their day perfect!  I shot this wedding last Summer and it was amazing- a little place called Oak Lodge!  It truly was so unique and beautiful! I adored it.  The day had perfect weather and lighting but more importantly, it was the first wedding I have ever shot! Since then, I have done 3 more! I am so lucky that they gave me that chance to shoot since I was so nervous to shoot a WEDDING! I kept thinking of the worst when it was the most fun I had in a long time! (PS- don't let your fears hold you back from something you want like I did for so long!) Thanks to them I can continue shooting weddings and all those little detials that I love!  I do have to say, even though the details are so fun to shoot- It can not replace moments like these:

These photos truly show the love that they have for each other and how much fun we had on their amazing day!  Thanks so much Adam and Brianna for the chance to capture your moments and your special time!  A wedding is such a huge step in every ones lives and I am honored to have been there to capture your moments!

The smugmug tab has more from other weddings I have shot- Just follow the link and click on their album!

An oldie but goodie!

Hi!
I wanted to post something on my blog today so I was looking through some old before and after photos since it is so fun to see the work it took to get to the final product. I wanted to post this photo since I thought it was so funny.

There was not too much editing for this photo.  It is a few separate photos merged together as you can see from Chances leash and just some color added along with cropping.  Easy Right? No.

As much as I love my lil guy in photos I wanted to post some behind the scenes...
I swear I have a hundred of these trying to get him focused and posed and where I wanted him to stand.  The way I edit I set the focus so I have to make sure he is right were I want him and posing at the same time.  He gets so distracted.  He is a great model though, don't you think!? I love him so much! I think he really enjoys hanging out with me while I do my photos- mostly likely the only one not giving me weird looks as I shoot!

I hope you like the before and after and behind the scene photos, I'll make sure to post them as I shoot new ones!

GREAT NEWS TOO!  - I was invited to be in an art show in January with some of co-graduates from Edinboro University! I did not graduate with an art degree but a speech and hearing sciences degree so it's really exciting to be recognized as an artist from Edinboro! I'll update you all with details when I get them - I'll be doing some new photos or maybe a series for this show- so you'll have to come down and check it out! <3

A Creative Camera Strap!

So. Hello World... or whomever is actually reading this. ha.

I did see this idea on pinterest! I was thinking of Christmas gifts and just decided to pin it and maybe eventually come back to it if I even remembered about it.

Well- I came across it again- thankfully- and went to the store to pick up the scarf, some leather and some key chain rings.  I did see some other ways to hook it onto the camera besides the key chain rings but they didn't seem stable and I don't want any ones camera smashing to the ground!

I threw some thread in the sewing machine after I cut the leather and sewed everything together! I am so happy with how they came out! I even got a scarf from my closet and made myself one!
I got such a good response after posting it on facebook that I will be making an etsy store (link will be in the tabs above) and I will be selling them there shortly!  I hope you enjoy! xoxo I know I can't wait to get the store set up for these bad boys! I will be selling some other things as well such as my hats and scarves along with maybe some jewelry!!!! WOOO! Keep checking back for the opening of SHANLAND!!!!
